Our Story

With over 10,000 genetic tests available, finding and ordering the right test has become a challenge for patients and healthcare professionals. With scattered information about genetic tests, inconsistent ordering processes, and cumbersome result reporting, there is a growing need for tools to navigate this explosive field.

Genetic testing is complicated. The ordering process shouldn’t be.

Convinced there was a better way, Mark Harris, Ph.D. founded NextGxDx to be a single, definitive source for finding and ordering the appropriate genetic test, the first time. Joining forces with molecular geneticist, Jud Schneider, Ph.D. and an outstanding team of physicians, researchers, web designers, and software engineers, NextGxDx is designed to make the process of genetic testing simpler. Empowered by an intuitive user interface, physicians and other healthcare professionals can now access up to date listings of all genetic tests from CLIA/FDA certified laboratories, order tests online, and receive results electronically.
